lmao I don't know if you've read the next chapter but I explained it there why they reacted like that. I know about drachmas, of course, but historically speaking, they weren't a thing yet in the beginning of Time. Barter was the first mode of exchange in commerce. The drachma system was invented in 6th century BC and the setting here is still around 1600 BC lol
although it didnt give any location. I assumed he used to live in modern Greece with his father for research and historical study reasons. but now he's using US currency. can author clarify? i mean i guess this means he was in America. but it is mildly confusing. not enough to ruin the story by any means
