Comments of chapter undefined of Journey Of A Legend

So i am supposed to believe that the wind blade which could barely break the skin on the devil can all of sudden kill it with a "surprise attack" because the devils energy was nearly depleted from hitting his mask shield ?? for one how will he accomplish this "surpise attack" when he is litterally fighting it up close and personal and even an idiot would know he is looking for an opening not to metion the fact that the devils physically body is not going to get all of sudden drastically softer and less durable because it was not prepared for it being attacked which does not make any sense on its own i am calling bunk on that one even if it is just used as a device moved the plot along and hand the mc treasures their still has to be some explanation or logic behind it even if it is not a seemingly important part of the story.

I read it twice but I still don't understand.. Why do they need permission from the Association at this point 🤔? I mean Greg has cleared areas solo so far and he didn't go to the Association to get permission. So I wanted to clarify if that is because now they want to get money from it. Because I bet my cat there is a trading system for the stones. Or maybe because Greg is no longer alone and teams need to be registered since a lot of casualties might bring problems for the Association.
