I’m on the fence. Up until the previous chapter, I’ve really enjoyed the story. The previous chapter had me shook because there’s no reader warning about this assault (yes, assault). Regardless of Martin’s physical reaction (he’s human), He very clearly said no and tried to fight. I was really hoping Steve would snap out of it, but he continued. I was definitely looking forward to them coming together as a couple, but the means saddens me. 😔 I’ll continue to read for now. May I suggest a chapter warning, though, if there’s going to be more of these assault type of events. I’m all for the smut, though. No warning necessary there. ☺️
