What? These are slavers? If this was considered slavery the Civil War wouldn’t have happened. I’m kinda confused about this book. Is it supposed to be an antagonist MC like Profane Prince or something? Because they killed them with little reason they weren’t being forced to stay at all, it was offered to them like a job so what was the point of killing them other then just wanting to?
CosmicPrime:What Civil war are you referring to? Also, they are slaves. Anne's job is literally the slave scouter/owner. She was going to capture Darcel the first time they met him if he resisted. Same with Aniela. This isn't some job they could quit if they want to. Them being slaves only seems less cruel because they're given the bare necessity to live. If Darcel and Aniela didn't have their special powers their treatment would've been far more horrible.
I felt like it was unnecessary for Anne to Die. Honestly, They had enough strength to overpower them all and knock them unconscious. Sure, I get that they lived in a harsh world before meeting them but that doesn't mean you should bite the hand of those who feed you. But anyway, it is a interesting book so fa..
Yeah, not going to lie. This and the last few chapters seemed extremely pointless. The plan was more than enough at causing a distraction the separated them from the group, 2 1st realm servants hardly seem like a reason to commit a manhunt, the slaughter of clan members on the other hand is definitely a reason. For a MC that seems to be about calmly planning, that seems like a poor decision.
