I've read way to many of these types of story, so now I'm always paranoid about god/goddesses of light, the hero/hero of light, and all women that weren't originally a slave that the MC buys. I've become biased I know, but they're all out to get you I promise.
Is it the night hunting? When you kill monsters during the night you get more exp so thats why she has such a high level? Or is it just that she's been on a mega grind lol?

He doesn't wants to be rude and still fells into an obvious trap.
The woman doesn't want to tell him why they are on a night hunt and he 'reluctantly' accepts it and goes along with them.
