Huhu, indeed. Very good. I like how the story starts off not quite the typical, "Oh, I have been reborn! " right, like any normal person would pull that kind of response right away. Taking a moment and analyzing whether what is real and what is not makes sense. I find the FL a good fit for her character. Not quite unhinged but clear headed and torn deasite her sufferings. Hm, it gives a form of sense that takes a REAL human to show doubt and not accept things as they are right away. I may be overthinking but, hey, this story is interesting and had me hooked right off the bat. Kuddos! π
Honestly that fact that her instinct is to stockpile weapons instead of stopping the AI in the first place is a bit weird. Without some sort of magic there is just no way for humans to win in the disaster described. Even if no one would believe her she would be better off flying to Tokyo and stopping the engineer from making the AI, possibly even killing him if needed. Ya maybe that would just lead to someone else making an AI in the future, but at least it would give more time and maybe the next person to succeed wouldn't be stupid enough to immediately connect it to the internet.
