did any of you guys complaining actually think he was gonna kill Duan Lian? And in case you thought that intimidating him in this manner and hunting down all the challengers is a weird and unfitting way of proving the Ultimate style is superior, well, I also kind of agree. However, this method does properly show off the high speed and stealth capabilities of the Ultimate style, so I'm only hoping that Meng Chao just has some more proper, public fights from now on.

Could have just titled the chapter something like: The End of Animosity, and put it where it belonged. It's nicely ambiguous, no spoilers, and no interruption to the usual flow of the story.

If I was Duan Lian, I would quit school cause I got too traumatised by this new 'friend' of mine. Being attacked in a place you feel safe in unexpectedly, watching and feeling 'your own blood' flowing out of your body while you await death, being confronted by your 'friend' and having everything you believe is real turn upside down for you. Bruh... MC has proven once again that he is more brutal and scarier than all monsters out there

The author really thinks he’s clever with all these psychological antics. It’s just annoying me. We get it! You want us to think the MC is much smarter and more cunning than the other characters. Time back on the ridiculously set up situations.
