lol this chapter is so contrived. He could go to the officials, reveal the extent of his future knowledge, and just insist that his identity be kept a secret. Isn't the best way to ward off the threats of the monsters to make humanity as strong as possible as quickly as possible?

So MC can openly display his future skills, knowledge etc, but can’t say where it’s from cos brain maggots. Amazing author-san. Your skills in bullshitting and ignoring logic have truly ascended into the heavens.

This entire chapters purpose is to close off the easy out of the MC just telling people about the future. Its understandable that if the author can't let that happen and still have a story but come on "brain maggots" I think the author has brain maggots if this is the best excuse he can come up with.
