Lmfao. I get it. I get the romanticism with appreciating a katana. I GET IT! IT'S COOL! And I wish it were a better weapon. The katana really isn't that great a weapon, especially not with modern day crafting methods. While back in the day when they were made in feudal japan they were 'the shit', if you were to make a katana the same way now it would be hella weak because basically the folding actually weakens the metal. Top-grade steel longsword or even titanium would be so much better, he apparantly has a few weeks still so I'm not sure why he's rushing to buy ALL those weapons right now.
yes I know this lol. The sword is properly made using the correct technique. a katana is weak at stabbing but strong when slashing. It is also extremely sharp and plus the art of using a katana is very beautiful. The main reason for this weapon choice though is that it is different from what other would want to use and it's what he already knew how to use.
