I have to ask, how where you educated? Because they failed hard if you think 'announced to him the system' is grammatically correct. I skimmed ahead and this is how you format EVERY occurrence of this type of dialog statement. It ruins the immersion of the story having to decrypt Yoda speech in an otherwise good novel. How have you never noticed that you write these dialogs in literally the opposite way they should be written? It is supposed to be the subject, in this case 'the system' followed by how they delivered the dialog, in this case 'announced to him'. These rules in language exist for a reason, over generations people discovered and refined how to speak and write to deliver maximum understanding with minimal confusion, you write perfectly fine in all cases except this one illogically wrong area. Why? Why is this the only thing that you do that is literally the opposite to correct way?
