You do make a good point, I guess in that case I let my own views and opinions decide instead of a war-mindset. I was thinking of a few ancient japanese war stories I recall, during these scenes, and of how warriors were dishonored for poisoning enemy soldiers' food by night, rather than facing them in fair combat
Grim_Remorse:just gonna add this since although I understand the honor thing, in my opinion humans really only claim to have honor then go around back stabbing people and using under handed methods in "honor fights". About it being a cheap trick, I can see where you're coming from with that but I would like to call it a war tactic since this was when war was brewing between the countries.(also gonna say that the thing about poisoning the water supply was only directed at the soldiers not civilians since that would maybe be a war crime? and not really honorable.)
