I think you need to re-read ur earlier chapter where there is said humanity unity in 1 power to fight the shalkers. Even soldiers join an army in their late teens have a strong solidarity only after 1 year joining. Imagine when they're joining in the age of 8? Skin colour? Height? Race? Bullying? There is no such thing👄

I understand the Mc trust issue I really do but it shouldn't be that bad like he acts like someone manipulated him then later on betrayal him and killed his family but no they only to petty and easy to read lies to him and if his negative energy wasn't being absorbed it would be so obvious.

Gotta say, this story has a lot of triggers for me that would have made me very upset in the past. I seriously hope his situation turns for the better in the near future.
