I don't understand, if the first time Zane saw his own state it was clear that he had sphinx lineage, why has he never investigated it? He didn't even get curious when he discovered that the family lineage was from a dragon, so the lineage he had was not through his paternal family.

No. I think there is a misunderstanding. Zane never saw any sphinx lineage. The sphinx bloodline appeared for the first, past Zane. I did not mention it again. Why he was not curious? đ¤ Maybe because it was not usual. Bloodlines are not common. The diary did not mention it so he did not give it another thought.
