These two wholeheartedly deserve each other - Tianhua wanted someone to kiss the ground he walked on and Yiyue was willing to do that, using whatever means necessary to acquire that position. Ultimately, what they wanted and what they got were two different things. Yiyue wanted the frills of being Young Madam Feng, but can’t stand the family pressure from what that title entails. And Tianhua realized he’s really nothing without Moyu by his side. Even if Tianhua had revealed his feelings early on and had been able to win Moyu’s heart, he would’ve still succumbed to the fragility of his male ego and hurt her. They made their bed, now they should just lie in it.
Hah! Feng Tianhua can blame Xing Yiyue, his mother, Moyu or anyone else for that matter, for everything. But at the end of the day, he made those decisions. Nobody forced him. Not like he had a gun pointed to his head. 🙄 He can even have 5-letters (R.E.G.R.E.T) tattooed to his forehead, it still won't change anything. Moyu might forgive him someday. But they'll obviously never be able to go back to how they used to be. 😏
