Not gonna lie… feels like a pretty terrible time for a flashback :/ tho I do tend to hate flashbacks in general.
I was looking forward to Asna backstory and honestly it was done amd somewhat emotional, but i agree with your point, the timing was wrong, The backstory would have had a great impact after Asna rescue.
