Loved the chater and I could only hope for a second one today... ;) nineteen years seems fine to e and love how you used it I'm sure it can be used as a way to push the students to greatness. Also for the quirk at some points, maybe once he really overuse it a lot, he can show some kind of breakthrough or something like collecting back lifespan or something well youre the author and I love your novel ;)
I guess this may be able to explain a possible "second awakening" of his quirk. What I mean is - make up an excuse to give so that he eventually doesn't have to "use his lifespan" but instead life-force that he accumulates through other means; ie eating food, absorbing sun rays, anything really. Also, really?! Thousand of limbs were used and he "only" lost nineteen years. That funnier than the joke about the pickle. Thanks for the chapter.
thanks for the chapter. oof 19 years. I was expecting him to say 16. guess I was pretty close. but then again, maybe after a couple years he can explain that his usage of his quirk improves because of his knowledge on biology or that he can now draw life force from other sources as a "mutation" to his quirk. it is possible to play it off believably when the time comes. other than that, I love the book so far author. it is very well thought out and I cant seem to stop waiting for the next chapter. keep up the great work.
A complimentary quirk for this could be something like Life-Leech or Life-Steal. Anyone you touch you can drain their life-energy like a vampire or something. This would negate the fake draw-back of his quirk but still be possibly explained as him just gaining more control over it (it eats up his own vitality but he trains it to eat up others instead) but at the same time be something he cant necessarily overuse since he cant very well go around sucking the life out of people and still be a hero.
