The fact that he's even more concerned over her having a proper dinner than his own, speaks to how protective and affectionate he feels toward her, especially as vulnerable she is, and her starting to trust him enough to show some of her feelings for him. I wish violet would come out of her shell a little bit more. she obviously has feelings for Luke so it's time to let it come out of that shell some more and to be a little bit more confident with herself I'm loving the book

i agree with Violet, I wouldn’t want to be alone after seeing what she just saw. Yuck!! It makes my skin crawl. I’d want to be as close to Luke as possible. Please let Mr. Wickham spill Everything quickly so Luke can gey back to Violet.

I am glad Luke is getting everyone involved and aware of what the black witches are up to. I really wish Violet would be honest with herself, and Luke, and trust her feelings when it came to Luke. I am glad that he is being consistent in his devotion and care and not wavering in his protectiveness of her. Glad someone is going to enjoy Bob’s meal...and chocolate cake...
