I can kinda understand how he feels, but at the same time I also know how girls can be, especially in novels... the fact that his sister died the way she did can't really be blamed on Xavier, because if he truly wanted to do any harm to her, he would never have brought her home... and as for the girl that was "more than just friends" with Alex, that isn't his fault either, because if she was really committed to be with Alex, then she wouldn't have been making out with another guy... and let's not forget how much of a white lotus girls can be in novels, so how was Xavier supposed to know that a girl he's making out with has only "vaguely" told another guy that "they are more than just friends"??? basically, the girl had no intention of being with Alex, and she proved that by not saying outright that they were boyfriend/girlfriend, and most especially when she was making out with someone who wasn't Alex... 😶😶😶🙄🙄🙄
