Maybe just send her off on a mission or something? She realizes that the targets are all acting wrong, and self-implodes, the goddess talks to Briar, says “go fix it”, and we move on? Dunno if you want the goddess to villain it up like “you screwed up my plan, your brother is my chess piece, how dare you make him happy without my approval, people’s misery makes them pray to me” or more nice like “yeah, that Violla lady, she really screwed up huh? Can’t even realize the world is real! I was a bit dumb, please help me!” Dunno how dark you want to go with it. Or Vwahla could just trip down some stares and off herself, maybe it was an event from the game, she got desperate trying to capture the targets, and assumed that since the event went fine in the game it would be fine for her? Or she does something to prove she has the goddesses protection and fails, dying? Or she tries to take the targets by force, and the goddess has to step in, since Vaughn is turning into a demon lord? Or whatever else you feel works, this novel has been great so far! One side note- healing magic could be used to speed up recovery from a workout, and allow for more intense workouts, so if it’s used properly people could develop superhuman physical strength. It could even let you fracture bones and heal them to develop super-strong bones! Could be a fun way to up Briar’s contributions to the world! Anyways, thanks for the chapter!
