I believe you have captured what would happen with a truly immersive game when first released. people tend to do the familiar
No this is definitely not what would happen yea a lot of people world run out and start fighting but they wouldn’t rely entirely on skills I can’t think of any games that you could do that most games don’t give you spamable skill like that till your higher level and there would be a lot of people who would want to grind there skills and explore the town
having interacted with 4 npc's and seeing them go through no extreme situations he decides that they are so life like that all npc's are worthy of human rights.... shouldn't he have decided that a little later into the story, after seeing them go through a bit more emotions and interacting with a few more then 4 npc's?
