This chapter left me both looking forward to what will happen to Drakos as vexed with the comments. I honestly cannot understand this insistence that many people have to push Bella to Xuefeng's harem. I'll write about my personal vision and thoughts about this subject and will probably will write spoilers to who didn't read the previous novel, Spirit Cultivation. Xuefeng already have other three potential canditates to enter the harem, the daughter of the grandmaster of the House of Dragons, and as mentioned in the previous novel, the elder sister of Lisa, the ascended to the Heaven Realm and entered some sect that I don't remember of the name, and the Goddess of Thunder, the previous Fate Holder of Ling, that he promissed Ling to rescue. And let's not forget that Bella, Drakos, Xuefeng and his harem lived together inside a small realm for the period of closely two years, and during that time neither Xuefeng or Bella showed any kind of romantic inclination towards one another, different from all the other members of the harem that showed some kind of interest on Xuefeng even if it wasn't romantic, such as Wu who initially just thought that he would be a good business partner and Wen that first met him only to judge if he was good enough to her little sister, Tianshi. There's also the reactions of Bella during their attack to the Dwarf Kingdom. After she reached Drakos on the vault she was clearly hurt when Drakos lashed out at her, when Drakos reached the Celestial stage and gained again an humanoid body Bella was surprised for a moment, and she shouldn't since that event was something she knew it would happen, possibly indicating that his appearence was more to her likely than she espected and, most important of all, how she reacted when Drakos forcibly teleported her to the Spirit Land Capital, breaking down in tears. Bella is new on the Heaven Realm so, different from Drakos, she doesn't know that the Dwarf King wanted to imprison the dragon to use his flames, but she knows that this wasn't the first conflict between the king and the dragon, probably making her imagine that Drakos would either be killed or imprisoned and tortured, which likely resulted in her violent actions to go back to the Metal Land, leaving pretty clear that whatever feelings she has for Drakos cannot be simple be discribed as simple a good opinion or friendship, but something far deeper. As for Drakos, I honestly like him as a character, just as much as Xuefeng. He might be selfish and a prick sometimes, but that is result of his past in the Heavelm Realm, as mentioned in the previous novel, since he was some kind of prince. As a result of that I at least think that he's the one with the most potential to personal growth of all characters. His reaction to Bella unintentionally give him the idea that she thinks nothing of him is a sign that he have little to none emotional maturity, which explains he throwing a tantrum and going as distant as possible from her after the event and his anger after she catches up to him. This lack of emotional maturity is probably a result of for the first time ever he developed an interest in the opposite *** that is different from desire or lust, but romantic or love, depending to how someone might see it.
