My opinion is that the author can write whatever he wants, but peole don't have to support him if they don't like how things are going. Telling opinions are a good way for the author to know what people are liking and what they dislike. If he choses to change to fit more the preference of the audience or stick to his original ideas is a gamble he has to take. I'd like to say i don't care about who he chooses to be with who, but i'm not, and i believe many aren't. This topic is especially touchy in harem stories. I think if you are going to write about some girl's feeling in lenghty them add to the harem, otherwise many will ***** about it. Anyways Thx for the chapter.
My addition to the arguement about whether or not the author should add that girl into the harem is simple. It's the authors choice 100%. I actually prefer that an author writes his story in whatever fashion he wants because its HIS story. He shouldn't worry about whether or not readers like what he writes. I dont always like what many authors do with their stories but it's their story and they choose what direction it heads. They shouldn't have to go back and change what they wrote because they feel pressured by their "fans" to write what they like. If you dont like what he writes either write your own story or quit reading. For every person that doesn't like what he does with his story there will always be another who does. Especially considering what most people like on this app/website. All yall want are op protagonists with swarms of women flocking to them and for nothing to go wrong because the mc "calculated it" or his plot armor is just that thick. I enjoy those stories as well but they dont do well in the long term simply because they get repetitive. Why keep reading when the mc is always guaranteed greatness? Author dont worry that you'll lose viewership in the short term because people dont like a certain writing choice. if you plan on releasing this novel on more than this website or publishing it or whatever you dont need to worry about things like that. Different people like different things and you'll find people that like what you write. Personally I dont want to see the girl added to his harem simply because I would find it creepy. Not only did xuefeng look at her like a sister but she was also still a little girl while he was an ***** when they meet. It will also make great character development for her and would make her far more interesting. Her character track right now is so bland. She fell in love. Worked hard. Gets xuefeng to love her. She journeys with them for whatever chapters are left in this book or maybe the next. (depending on when she comes in). Wu Kong also wouldn't be nearly as interesting a character. I HIGHLY doubt he would become an enemy if xuefeng were to marry little mei for multiple reasons. First is that xuefeng is like a brother to him. Second Is his sister. She either wouldn't let him or he would have to turn on her as well which I just cant see him doing over a little heartbreak. Third is how well he is already handling little mei's crush on xuefeng. He is being really mature about it and for him to randomly have an outburst about it later on wouldn't stay true to his character. Just my thoughts!
