Maybe Arnold could get a skill wipe to out part of Allen's memories, to give him a second chance to be a good son for Nathaniel. Or he could use one of his available subclass slots to get like a psychic or psionist class that allows him to mess with people's minds. Then use that to mess with his memories. Maybe have him think that Arnold found him early on when he was a soldier and he has been fighting alongside Arnold his entire time as a soldier. He could be the first member of Arnold's team because he has to eventually build one, even if he is an entire time himself.
