I hope the author limits Hilda's chapters to atmost 3 but seriously this story has so much potential but making it draggy won't keep the readers engaged. I can do with the chapters having back stories about the princes and the royal family they are enjoyable to read but not someone like Hilda, her mother's past and her father's past! Even Earl Blaise is more interesting than Hildađ
Part 2 - For the most part we care about the main and those close to her but even those chapters with aspects of their lives should not be drawn out either e.g 50+. Background stories/arc esp for minor characters are fine but should be limited to a max of 10 relevant chapters, tie to the main, strenghten the story/make it fun/interesting. If its a mini link/arc, it should not be more than 3 chapters, repeating here make the story interesting. Frankly for the most part of late this novel does not do that for me, its a complete turn off and frustrating as I feel cheated/wasting coins. Can you imagine a subscriber who spent a lot of money in their own currency just to get a chapters of novel/s & get "little enjoyment or no enjoyment value reading" e.g in my currency for the US$150, I'm spending close to $25,000, some of which goes to chapter/s of an unfinished novel. The more this continues, the reader will reach a point stating, I'm not going to bother with this story anymore because of "XYZ", trust when I state one of those reasons are what I have stated earlier. It also would affect you as you are likely to lose income. I do encourage that you continue to write as its what you love to do, however I highly recommend that you do a lot editing - no one likes drawn out unnecessary chapters, arcs or stories. We liked to be entertained, enjoy the story not frustrated with one. Take care.
Long comment here author. (Part 1) How many more chapters of Hilda's story? Hilda, in my view though a rival for Yvonne is not relevant until they meet i.e. 16. Author, you have a tendency of having these types of arcs for over 20 chapters, I'm not a fan of them. They do not make the novel better as a matter of fact its worse, as me as well as fellow readers are likely to skip them. As previously stated, I think the novel though interesting has several dragging modes when a larger time skip or movement of story is needed but not done. Sorry for the rant, but frankly I'm getting more unhappy with this story which has so much potential if it did not drag too much with a lot of unnecessary chapters etc. especially with characters (minor/mini minor ones) backgrounds & or situations. It needs to move much faster or this story will be losing its readers.
