After that cliff at ch 546 I had to immediatly purchase the next privelage to see what happened next. While it leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth I have to applaud the author for using such a bold move to move the story forward. The story probably would have gone a bit stale if they stayed at Sukan. At least Malaka, Calina, Qia and Kentucky are alive as well as those few survivors. Hopefully in the future the twins find a way to revive a few of the souls such as their family and Droman. Who knows maybe that small black and white sphere left behind may do something about it. Once again love the novel and I am interested to see what comes next.
I like that it wasn't immediately assumed that the humans were being treated unjustly and that it might actually be their fault. I'm a bit disappointed that the environment didn't make the people get stronger just to survive it and they're instead weaker than on Sukan especially since even with the cultivation their group has they still needed to use their energy to stop themselves from freezing
