K'nny the twin tailed Ape was out for a stroll to pick some herbs to ease his mate pain as she had caught a nasty cold in the last big storm. He had just spotted a small patch of her favourite flowers that he thought would delight her and improve her mood. When suddenly, two demonic human imps one with hair as dark as the void of night, the other whose hair shone like the white flame at the world's hair, rushed to attack. K'nny roared desperately to explain the urgent need to care for his sick mate... But to no avail... Within a few short bloody moments it was over, his hopes to expand the cave, to watch the youngling frolic in the forest shade, the look of surprise his mate would have show at the flowers, flickered before his eyes.. . They had killed K'nny. ..

I don't think that Roan is overpowered. If they are supposed to be equal, then shadow can corrode life and light can buff or heal. Roan also had thousands of years with his weapons. However, making him skilled in them is a bit much. In the first couple chapters it was said that Rean was the first soul to resist him. Then where did he get his experience?

Will they have equal power later on or will Roan's element be stronger because of that effect?

we gotta average them out! will rean get some sort of cool power due to his previous life???

Rean a bit weak, dark is definitely much better element.

You actually didn't make Roan OP, it makes sense that Death would be good at killing.

When will they figure out that their elements are not light and Dark, but yin and yang to go with their cores and Veins?

At this point Roan seems more like the older brother than Rean does lol
