It's stupid to kill the soothsayer, but that's what normally happens when powerful men don't like what they hear. Bad news won't change just because the messenger is killed. If you have a True & Accurate prophet in your hands you should either listen carefully and calmly to their words or else lock them safely away and never let any word of theirs be heard.
