For now, Gyles doesn't seem to be going to be their enemy and I hope it will stay that wayđđđ. Never forget him but move on and be happy.
I just find it a testament to good storytelling to be able to morph the villain of the story as another victim of external manipulations. Cassius (aka Roger) has a very tragic love story hthat provokes romantic empathy from the reader. As a hopeless romantic, I really wanted him to be able to live a peaceful life with Gyles while atoning for his past sins. However, now I do hope Gyles can live a happy life with the pack despite losing Roger. I do believe he will turn evil as he saw how Roger's hatred and need for vengeance was fruitless and painful in the end.
Iâm hoping Gyles will choose to stay with the Pack. The Elis are down low evil MFers playing with peopleâs lives like a big game. Until Gyles can learn enough of the world around him, he could make a new start with Beau, Lanis, and friends since heâll be with both wolves and vampires in a blended environment.
