Yes, she needed to see it with her own eyes that ger husband was a cheating, dirty scoundrel. She was too naive and trusting of him.

In the short term this was painful for Lucy to witness but in the long term, she now knows what Samuel is like & can separate from him. She would never have believed Theo so here her husband’s actions were far more effective than Theo’s words. Lucy has been taken advantage of, manipulated & betrayed her whole life. Although painful, she deserved to know the dirty truth. Isnt this where Samuel & Theo have a fight?? Also...cue Ethan!
