Such a painful & heartbreaking chapter!!! Anyone else shouting, ‘get rid of the damn necklace?’ Cal was such a dutiful & doting son - I really feel for him & the loss of Constance. The tenderness & love he felt for his mother was evident in volume 1 & it has only been reinforced here. Constance was a great role model for him. Despite her suffering she was never bitter & was a guiding light in the dark world. Much like Maddie will be.

I read these last 2 chap with a heavy heart. I feel so sorry for Cal and Constance. 😭😭
