Its bittersweet. I want more Cal and Maddie but its good to see more of Cal and Theo. We definitely didnt get much of Theo and Lucy so it’ll be good. I feel like there will be a lot of crying.

Yes! I cannot wait to hear more of his backstory and find out how Cal came to be more powerful than even the devil himself, with feathered wings when Vlad has batlike wings! And antlers! We don’t know anything about Constance’s mom?! Maybe she was an angel disguised as human, and thats why Cal has feathers?? All I know is, I won’t be disappointed in whatever Ash creates! ❤️

My love for Maddie and Calhoun will be forever in my heart but I’m also excited for this second volume... i hope it is not short and will have a side story of Beth and Raphael too and Maddie’s baby of course... Wonderful and so excited that as we embark on Lucy and Theo’s journey, we will still get to see Calhoun and hopefully glimpses of Calhoun, Madeline, their child, Beth and Raphael and of course Vladimir...maybe Helena and the Harris’.

Thank you for this story. I loved it from the beginning to the end. Thank you for the way the story ended. It was a perfect conclusion to wrap all of the heartaches up till now. I still have tears flowing. I look forward to volume 2.
