This chapter got me furious, confused and down at the same time. I'm not really trust beth for changing into the better person, even for a gold sister. yet Calhoun's anger is really understandable. I'm with him at this point. turns out beth has committed so much sins just because of her insecurities and jealousy towards maddie and it makes her action in the future will remain questionable too. Idk man.. idk.. what would happen to her after this
please redeem yourself completely and stop be so selfish. try remembering all your sister have done for you in the past and come back to the way you were before your grandparents altered your personality. and please cal understand a little about her situation. her grandparents altered her personality so long in the past that she wasn't herself when she has done all these things to her family. so please have some merci on her poor souls. and these grandparents are the worst scrums I have ever seen in a books. they place belongs to hell.
I still cannot trust Beth. Her change did not come from a genuine place, but only because she was afraid for her life. She has been willing to sacrifice Maddie numerous times before, and I can easily see her doing it again if her life gets threatened in the midst of all this "sacrifice the dark angel" mess. 🙄🙄🙄 I'm still all for her dying. One less evil to worry about. 😑😑😑 Sidebar: Who broke that vase?? Does Beth secretly have some of the fallen angel abilities?? Because that would explain why the memory erasing didn't work and why she so easily accepted the truth about Maddie.🤔🤔
When it comes to Madeline, Cal doesn't forgive nor forget. It doesn't even matter who the culprit is to him. He'd have their head torn from their body. Hmm!! I also wondered why it didn't affect Beth. Grandma's tactic of memory wiping didn't work on her. Could she have something in her too that just hasn't come out?? 🤔🤔 Or, knowing Beth, maybe she has an ability but just keeps it a secret?? I wonder
