I love how much Calhoun loves her, and is willing to help her in any way possible. Watch how powerful she's going to become with his help!!! 🤗🤗🤗 And I knew that her grandparents story had been twisted, and that they're the dark angels. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Because if the wings were taken as punishment, it doesn't make sense that the evil ones would be the ones to get them back!!! 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

I HAVE A THEORY! I think it's Cal's mother. She's in a coffin in the graveyard, too. AND she wrote that bestiary. AND her dad is mysteriously sleeping in a cave since forever. So she's probably the one who told him the story, right? I really really REALLY hope we get to meet this grandfather!

I love that when Maddie asks Calhoun a question he gives her a real anwer.. and he gives her options to choose how much she can take. He’s dark and mysterious but not a liar. A man after my own heart. Oh and lets not forget funny too!❤️❤️❤️

This chapter further convinces me that calhoun’s grandfather is the first fallen angel. the woman he’s talking about it is clearly his mother. i can’t wait till Calhoun’s grandfather makes an entrance 👀

wooow this is a wonderful and interesting plot development... Pashcar, the very first fallen angel (later forgotten in history), descended from heaven because he fell in love with a human...his children were the dark angels, hunted by other fallens as a form of redemption so they could get back to heaven...but of course this wasn't true, they were just spiteful of him because he wasn't punished unlike them, the other fallens who followed the other first fallen who started a rebellion (known in history as Lucy😉)...

Who could it be that is in the graveyard now....🤔
