What a heart felt moment. Calhoun letting his gaurd down and demonstrating some weakness for Maddie. He’s so greatful for Maddie gesture to protect him. He hypothetically tells her that he needs her and gives her free will. This is not like Calhoun, so this speaks loudly how much Maddie really touched his heart and melted a bit of the ice. Honestly I just think he wants to just hold her than anything else. Love this!
Ash , i am so so happy right now!!!!!! Been waiting for Maddie to accept him For such a long time!!!! So many things i loved about this chapter. - Cal showed some weakness for the first time in asking her to stay with him because he needs her for comfort - she Closed her eyes at his touch - she tried to protect him (i bet its the first time anyone has ever done anything like that for him before) - she stayed with him!!! 😍😍😍 Please let them cuddle all night and hug away all the trauma from the last few days that theyve both been through!!!
