These family dinner chapters are hilariously funny. Maddie can’t seriously be that much of a expressionless girl. She’s got to eventually laugh at a thing or two of Calhoun’s crazy acts and of what’s going on around her. She’s been there long enough. She needs to break that shell and literally LOL or chuckle every once and a while. She’s accepted to marry into the family so it’s time for her to go with the flow. She’s still so young and should live a little. The situation is too crazy not to smile at leasr lol.

Well. I thought I was the only one staring at my phone wishing and hoping another chapter would just magically appear and grace us with its presence...then reality hits and I crawl into a fetal position and rock myself to regulate my emotions until the next release

It was only like 2 chapters ago, but I NEED to know what Calhoun was thinking while Madeline was trying to convince him she can “take care” of herself and what she said after.

This chapter has to be of my favorites at the moment. I love the tension in the room between Beth and Sophie and even more so how Calhoun is playing with it and making it even worse LOL I do love the moment when he fed Maddie at the end, the second bite he gave her, amazing. oh and the flying crab, right at Beth 🤣🤣 I can not wait for another chapter. Thank you Ash, I needed the laugh today and as always your work is amazing.

I wonder who the unfortunate person sitting diagonal to Sophie, it must be Beth. Then it will be the beginning of a good show between 2 jealous and unfaithful bitches. Made for each other. I believe if Calhoun could have a word with Maddie's parents as soon as possible might help their relationship better. Also Maddie will be saved from unnecessary grievance.
