Both he and Beth want the trone because they believe they are entitled to wealth and greatness. Even if Rosamund can stop the wedding, that doesn’t mean Cal will want Sophie; therefore she will prepare for Markus to usurp Cal. Will Beth be able to go along destroying her sister’s life 🤨 With more threats on her family, probably.

Realla really love this book! But now its getting somewhat complicated with all this plots. James is getting on my nerves.. why is he fantasizing about her? There was never really anything deeper between them. but somehow I‘m sure that Cal has his spies on his enemies to protect her. And I‘m proud that Maddie trusts Cal more than everybody else now!

This book has me checking for new chapters constantly. I love to story! ❤️ Cant wait for the next chapters. Someone is about to be in a lot of trouble! Calhoun is doing a good job of making Maddie use her own mind and see things and people for what they are inside the castle walls. How else wIll she be a strong, smart Queen to rule beside him.
