Cath knew well that James is interested in Maddie else y would she be hostile towards her ? Also it's clearly mentioned in previous chapters that James every now and then mentioned his likeness towards Maddie in his conversations , now cath acted like she's blind over the hints the man gave her and bcuz of that she suffers , also if she was so serious about him then she should have discussed it with James clearly before talking about there marriage to his father . atleast then she wouldn't have to face such embarrassment . Now just bcuz we want cal and Maddie be together we shouldn't blame Jamesfor being the rock between them it was him who was first to court her and she was ok with it , also u can't expect a bud to bloom after plucking it from the plant similar James and Maddie just started to feel now if cal comes in picture forcing things tell me how the hell it's James fault for not proposing Maddie since he didn't knew that the king will be his competitor , he took thing slow to make her comfy and now bcuz he doesn't want her to go through a bashful proposal that doesn't mean he is a spineless man , he is indeed a man of honour and kind enough to consider others problems and heart .

Well this is awkward.. to be honest, James should actually think about this matrimony.. Calhoun is right in saying Maddie and James barely had anything.. Yikes that was cold James 😒😡😡😡 He had no right to act cold like that to her especially since he was the one who was giving her the impression he like her back. Surely he had to of had some idea of her liking him . He may not have wanted to hurt her feelings but not being honest with her made things so much worse.I am so sad for Catherine 🙁
