He is really messing with her in this chapter. She's going to be Mad when it ends up being James getting married! But that end was beyond Romantic and beautiful 😍.

Maddie doesn’t know it, but she is more and more comfortable with Calhoun and even slightly anticipating his kiss again. He knows how to play the strings of her heart. 😂

Very interesting...🤔 There is way more to Cal under the surface then meets the eye. I wonder what he is hiding that Maddie needs to know? I wonder if that was what Theodore was referenceing too? Also why do I at this point after what I read worry about Maddie in respects to Theodore? Something doesn't sit right with me. Though I reserve right to change my mind as the story goes on. Which I love by the way.😍

I prefer the sweeter moments when Calhoun treats her like an actual woman. But I also like the fact that he’s direct and tells her the truth about who he really is it doesn’t try to hide it like most men do. I think she will end up falling for him. Actually I think she already is falling for him she just doesn’t know it yet. I can tell she’s already looking forward to the next kiss. Anyone else agree???
