Be still my heart, the way Calhoun is handling Maddie in the last few chapters is priceless. This chapter alone, with all the tenderness and thinking of her feelings, only as it benefits him, when he found James with her, I was sure he was a dead man lol And then the kiss, to take advantage of her at this time, not a shock, but pushing so many emotions on her at once will only allow some to sink in. I can not wait for more. Thank you Ash for amazing work.

I do not if anyone else is doing this, but as it is really hard to wait for chapters, especially with the cliff hangers we keeps getting lol I have been rereading the book. And it has been amazing to get to go back and catch the little things I missed before and to not have to wait for the chapters to open up. If you have not done this, I highly recommend it, so many amazing moments, that only feel more gratifying the second time through. Thank you Ash for all of you amazing work and dedication to your characters and to us readers. ❤️❤️
