The last sentence had me laugh hard. Till then it was too intense, i felt each of my hairs were getting life and standing erect on my skin. Oh god! I think i was role playing maddie in my head. I felt his breath on my skin his magnetic voice in my ears the intense stare in my eyes which travelled all across my body which made me shiver. It disappointed me when the most anticipated kiss never came but a little mockery with a chuckle in his husky voice. What's he gonna do next.
I love how Calhoun turned everything around on Sophie and pushed her aside, made me so happy. I also love the way he plays with Maddie, slowly pulling that invisible string he has wrapped around her, each movement drawing her closer to him, part of her wanted him to kiss her, but she can't see that yet lol Thank you for the updates, though I agree with the statement earlier, three chapters are not enough š¤£ As always, they were amazing, can't wait for more.
