I feel sad for James+Madds, but it has always seemed to be "like" (warm fuzzies).🙂 Calhoun might scare her, but it is PASSION 🥺🤯 with him (chemistry!!) - heart racing, knees weak... 🔥🔥🔥 No mistaking it. Remember that other guy that "disgusted" her -- never had that feel with the King! 😉🤭

Many may not agree with me but I really can't feel that chemistry between Madeline and James. It could be because they never really had a proper conversation with each other and it almost feels like one-sided. And while I fear for his head (I wouldn't want him dying), my heart didn't ache for him that he won't get Madeline.

He may not lose his head, but Calhoun has other ways...he could unleash the wolves.

For a smart man, James missed all the tell tale signs of "shut the hell up!" Wish Maddie had spelt it out to James when they met. If she can stand up to the king sometimes, telling James No should have come easy knowing his head was at stake.

That's for the best. You didn't lose your head, Maddie still gain the king's favour. I believe Beth gonna get a trouble for causing Calhoun wrath if he knew who's behind the letter

And i bet, this will not end the story about the letter. Nothing will be forgotten by the King, even a single and tiny matter about maddie. He will dig whoever ***** made that letter to James.

It would be wise for James to give up on Madeline.. coz first, you wouldn't want to go against the crown.. atleast not the crazy one and second, Madeline acted selfishly.. She should have atleast tried to acknowledge that she had feelings for him.. she chickened out!!!
