I'm honestly in shock at how naive these several hundred year old people (obviously not all of them are that old, but some definitely are) are being! Never lock a werewolf up in a wood cabin! At least Raina was being smart with the zoo cage. And secondly, they already had reason to suspect the Teacher might have been bitten, yet NO ONE went to keep an eye out on the Teacher to see if he might change? 🤦‍♀️ Please tell me they at least took that into consideration, even though it wasn't mentioned in the chapter...
