these info dumps in early chapters is going to deter people away quickly especially when its stuff that can be said in like 2 sentences....

A piece of advice, too much info is boring... Tbh, I skip most of it. As the story progress, you can just add them gradually as needed. Your system is also too serious like a teacher 😂

I think info in beginning is the set up for later mc doings.

Half of the info here could be distributed and explained later in the story. Although the explaination of him dying is fine.

also, why would the humans of Pangea not have the same sort of system which would become operable due to this apocalypse virus

1) I was hoping you'd make him eat zombie brains.. 2) I hate system stores. 3) I hate inventory. I hate them for some reason. For example, inventory. If he had penetrated into a secret laboratory for the study of space and found a bracelet with a folding space there. I would be glad. For the same reasons, I hate the system store, the hero gets what he doesn't deserve.
