Well, women are murdered by this kind of guys. What he did is crime. So I think romanticizing this kind of relationship is wrong for it’s an illusion and leads to women think is Ok or this is love and they can change these guys, which won’t happen.

How can a guy who slaps the female lead be the male lead of a romance novel??!!

I am not liking where this story is going . He has no fucking right to slap her and I know this happens in real life too . These kind of guys should be behind the bars

i think we are all taking this Book the wrong way. let me explain myself. there are guys out there who does this, it's real, so the book will empharsize i suppose on how to overcome this when a woman comes in contact with that sort of person. so personnally i think it's a good point for the book, if it can make women out there overcome their fears when that Comes their way. that is the journey of Alexis, either to find a way and dorminate or worst case destroy her abuser. i'll advise women to read this Book.

Ok I thought I was going to like this up until now but him hitting her is not ok in noway at all if I keep reading and this continues I will delete this and stop reading books like this makes guys thinks its ok and makes girls think that they somehow deserved it and its not right at all im disappointed 😞

I'd be less concerned about the slap and more worried about him saying they will have a "perfect relationship" and what will happen when it isn't so perfect.

Well, I guess that’s one way to woo her. Very aggressive and to the point. There is hints this isn’t her first time with some one like this. It will be interesting to see how she responds to this down the road to it.

Reading this kind of story and supporting a writers imagination does not condone abuse! The author, if you had read the prewarning, stated just that but in much better way then myself...so if your really the narrow minded judgemental type take yer eyes somewhere else it's really that simple! some people are more sensitive because of personal experience but that's where free will/choice comes in...I definitely empathize with you if this is the case because I have triggers of my own but one thing I will never support as a writer/artist myself is censorship.

It definitely took a dramatic turn fast. kind of liked it though it brings suspense!!
