Hmm... I have to confess that I felt a twinge of sadness reading the chapter. It's very sad to see how every time Wu Yun tries to help a human, he's betrayed and judged. Besides the physical wounds (which are already severe enough), he's very emotionally hurt in various ways. It's clear that the only thing keeping him from freaking out is his love for Lan Tian and Wan Mi. But, I must say, I'm very curious to know why the demonic weapon (if it's really the cause of the drought in Nanpei) started to affect the region abruptly. I just hope Lan Tian makes it back before something serious happens to Wu Yun. For some misteryous reason, I don't think the people of Nanpei will be king enough to wait for him and Xin Liqin to recover. Thanks for the chapter
ThirtyTyrants:Yeah Wu Yun is in a very bad place mentally, and things don't exactly seem optimistic. It's a good thing he has Xin Liqin to keep in company or he would spiral into a depressive episode. Yeah the drought is still very much a mystery, and next chapter might bring more questions than answers ;) Regarding Wu Yun's wellbeing....let's just say Lan Tian better hurry up. ****, that was so sad 😭😭😭 Wu Yun wasn't even thinking about his physical pain. Sure, he felt it, but he thought about Lan Tian the whole time. As if he was dying. 😭😭😭 I'm so curious to know why the rain didn't work. It makes sense to say it might be because of a demonic weapon. Maybe someone found it and disrupted the “balance”, maybe some other thing happened. 🤔 Well...
