Kyle is selfish. That is all there is to it. I don’t think he has a family and can understand the pain he puts others through. For him everything that he see and wants is the perfect picture that he seeks. He does not care who is in the picture as long as the picture fits what he believes is correct. These people are the easiest to trick and the hardest to convince to change their views because they do not see their own selfishness and only see the “Greater Good”. Kyle you selfish little snitch. He has been twisting and justifying his actions as for the Emperor, the Empress and the Royal Family when all he wants is his perfect little barbie doll fantasy house. He may have felt worried about Glen but he more likely accepted it as fate like he was thinking about the female de Moonasterios life. He is who goes along with the societal views and justifies all his actions to make it acceptable. As he doesn't seem to have had any hardships in life he can't even empathise with anyone other than thinking it is to happen. His character is very much like a typical aristocratic. I feel so dumb that I wanted to give him a room for doubt. But how come Ruto didn't recognise his mana? I can get that he can forget about ppl if they weak but isn't he a strong mana user that is able to cover up presence ?

i cant help but re read this chapter all over again. and the more i read the more im convinced that kyle have feelings for Juliet. only telling himself that Nikolai and Juliet are perfect together as an excuse to keep her close by his side? cause how r u gonna come up with all these stuff(like him saying maybe nikolai knew all along but decided to shut up.) and just pretend to forget the things Nikolai went through. hes acting like he wasnt there when she died. man was told shes alive and all common sense was suddenly thrown out the window like,,, crazy how he thinks like that… anyways, this is such a good chapter author♡
