I feel like Yule is still withholding some information from Neoma. From his conversation with Nikolai, it seems like there is a specific prophecy from the heavens outside his control where Neoma needs to be empress with the support of the legendary pillars. But here he made it sound like it is something he desires himself and mainly for the purpose of eradicating the cult and getting his eyes back.

Ahhh playing favorites. Is it bad to hope that yule can slay that "righteous" father of his(?); his eyes are even stolen but he was punished.If yule or that father of his is a god that oversee the world i live in then i'm sure it will be doomed. A god that doesn't even have a clear thinking and wise brain. 🙄 It also all started with yule being ambitious and sexist. 🙄 if he didn't turn a blind eye that time then that wouldn't happen to the princess's and now he wants to stop it. this whole de Moonasterio family is crazy and kinslayer since ages lol I wonder how William is had this great enemity against de Moonasterios. is he somehow related to aruna de Moonasterio? like Nikolai and mona? he did said that he is like nero, that means he was a mortal before. Yule's story have alot of loopholes, I still believe that he is scamming neoma for promising him lol Nikolai doesn't like him so much and doesn't call him grandfather, so he might have done something like backstabbing or not supporting them after asking for help. in a nutshell I still don't believe any gods from author's novels 🤣🤣🤣
