I still don't understand how she still calls him a cherished friend after what he has done to her. Sure hours was there during your lowest but now he's showing that he doesn't like the new you and the relationship you're in now. He wants what he had before and her total reliance on him. That's not a good or worthy friend. That's someone who is no longer a friend.
