It is not about hating Alice, it is just that the way you portray the relationship one can’t help but to be against her. Zeel might be a cunt but so far he has done nothing else than think about them first, let alone last chapter they even doubted if he likes them. If it was me I would have already divorced Alice xD not because she’s a bad person but because we’re totally incompatible. Usually you take a heroine and a MC that share the same objective and morals but have discussions regarding the methods. Yet here you have a heroine and an MC who are totally different from each other, let alone it is always Zeel the one that has to change and not Alice even tho Alice also has her things to learn just like you did in this chapter (which I believe was not the right way to teach her) Also you made Zeel forget too easily the mistake she just made last chapter, a make up **** doesn’t solve everything. As long as you don’t get rid of her ridiculous heroic sense, she will always be hated because heroes are compatible only in fantasy worlds and this isn’t it. As for Elizabeth, I think her character is well enough portrayed, only thing I could say to go against is that she seems to prioritise Alice over Zeel in most cases which goes against that supposed racial thing where she’s to be loyal to him. Overall and as I’ve read thus far, Zeel is not the MC of this novel anymore but it is both Alice and Zeel with a little more inclination towards Alice, that’s what I perceive.
