Sooo. Ame is the real MC here. The prince is definitely not mentally healthy, and needed someone to attach to. He chose Ame, and his devotion gave him 100 levels in RK!? That's insane, literally. He's probably an incredibly yandere at this point.

It wasn't so much that he obsessed over Ame specifically, but he finally found that driving force that pushed him to beco.e what he was supposed to be. The prince always had the potential to be insanely strong (as is to be expected since he is the prince,) but he just needed to find something to push him into it A.K.A. Ame.
